Everyone has seen those huge bean bags that people have in their homes that are the size of a couch, but what are they called? They are called a bean bag sofa because they are about the size of a sofa. Some people refer to them as chairs but that is not the right description. They sometimes even come with beds inside of them, although the bed might be comfortable, the beanbags that contain them are not. So make sure that you get one filled with shredded foam and not with a full bed.
These things actually don’t even have beans in them, they got this name because the first ones were filled with little beads or beans as they called them. These should actually be called a foam sack because they are actually just a sack filled with shredded foam. The original ones from many years ago were just tiny ones that were more for kids and that sticky vinyl covering. But now they come with washable covers that can be taken off and even replaced by a different color if you get tired of you current cover color.
They come is a wide variety of sizes and most people don’t understand the sizing process or they can’t comprehend just how big some of them actually are. The 2 ft is the smallest they get and it is more for kids. The 3ft is for kids or adults. It might seem small, but 3 feet is actually a perfect size for a grown adult if they are using it as a chair.
