There comes a time when all Filipinos must unite and vote one man who would rule the whole country. That date is set May 10, 2010, and this would go down in History as the most dirty, mudslinging and expensive Presidential campaign ever. I am referring to is how the candidates are so gallant with their commercials in TV and the Internet, and the Prize at stake is worth it. There are 2 Presidentiables that are slugging out each other, and that is Noynoy Aquino and Manny Villar. Noynoy is now on top, but most people believe that it was his mudslinging tactics that put him there on top of the surveys.Even the surveys, they said, is rigged because Noynoy has a cousin with a position on the Survey firm.The rumors never stop, but if you were to ask me, Villar was on track and did the right campaign. He was on top before 2010, but what he failed to grasp is the power of the online world. From there, his credibility is being destroyed, making him comical and a crook. Now that Noynoy is on top, I shudder to think that he will be the President. For obvious reasons like he’s a 50 year old kid in a suit, the fact remains about Hacienda Luisita. This has been an issue since 1967. His clan, the Cojuangcos, entered an agreement that they will give back the land to the farmers in ’67. His Mom, the late President Cory Aquino, also failed to address the concern of the farmers. So how could Noynoy Hacienda Luisita and the Cojuangcos give it back all the more if he becomes President? Hacienda Luisita Noynoy and his crew definitely will do nothing once they are in power once again, and like they say, if you can’t fix the wreck in your own backyard, why would you want something bigger?
